3 Burglaries Reported In 2 Days, Bloomfield Police Say
They entered the homes through windows and rear doors, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Three burglaries were recently reported in the span of two days in Bloomfield, police say.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about each incident:
March 17 – “Officers responded to the area of Newark Avenue on report of a burglary. According to a resident, two males were at the rear window attempting to gain entry, however, the audible alarm sounded causing the suspects to flee. The incident was captured on surveillance video. This incident is under investigation.”

March 17 – “Officers responded to the area of Bromley Place on report of a burglary. According to a resident, two males attempted to gain entry through the rear sliding doors by removing the screen door. The suspects also attempted to gain entry into the attached garage through a window. This incident is under investigation.”
March 18 – “Officers responded to the area of Belleville Avenue on report of a burglary. A resident noticed her rear window was broken when she returned home from work. There were clothing items missing and her artwork was damaged. This incident is under investigation.”
