3 Burglaries Reported In Bloomfield (See Locations)
Stolen items included printing press equipment and construction materials, police said.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Three burglaries were reported in Bloomfield last week, authorities say.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about each incident:
Oct. 27 – “Officers responded to the area of Summit Avenue on report of a burglary. According to the resident, pry marks were observed on the rear door to the residence. There was no entry made into the residence. This incident is under investigation.”

Oct. 29 – “Officers responded to 106 Montgomery Street on report of a burglary. The complainant noticed several construction materials missing from the property. Surveillance video showed two males load the materials into a black pickup truck. The materials were valued at $300. This incident is under investigation.”
Oct. 31 – “Officers responded to 104 Orange Street (Extra Self-Storage) on report of a burglary. The complainant left her storage unit closed but unlocked on Oct. 29 and when she returned on Oct. 31, she noticed several boxes were missing. The boxes contained printing press equipment valued at $2,540. This incident is under investigation.”
