3 Dogs Taken During Burglary At Bloomfield Animal Shelter: Police

A man entered the facility after it was closed and took the dogs, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- Someone took several dogs from the Bloomfield Animal Shelter during a burglary last week, authorities say.

An employee at the shelter told officers on Aug. 19 that a man entered the facility after it was closed and took three dogs. The shelter is located at 61 Bukowski Place.

A police investigation continues, authorities said. No additional information was immediately available.
