3 Men Try To Break Into Woman’s Home In Bloomfield: Police

Another burglary was recently reported at a storage business in town, Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two burglaries were reported in Bloomfield last week, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, a home burglary took place on the 100-block of Montgomery Street on Saturday.

The resident woke up when three men unsuccessfully tried to break into her home through the rear door. The men then tried to enter her vehicles that were parked in the driveway, police said.

GROVE STREET

Another burglary took place at 211 Grove Street (iStorage) on Dec. 1, police said.

A customer told officers that two coats and two pairs of high-end shoes were missing from her storage unit. The items were valued at $4,450, authorities said.
