5 Stolen Cars In Bloomfield: Here’s Where Thefts Took Place, Police Say
Several car thefts were recently reported in Bloomfield, police say.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Several car thefts were recently reported in Bloomfield, police say.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the following incidents were recently reported in the township:
June 4 – “Officers responded to 168 Bloomfield Avenue (Dirty Laundry Express) on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. The complainant left his vehicle unlocked and running as he unloaded his laundry. An unknown male then entered the vehicle and fled the area. The vehicle, a gray 2024 Honda HRV, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”

June 7 – “Officers responded to the area of Morris Place on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. The complainant parked her vehicle on the street overnight and when she went outside the following morning, it was missing. The vehicle, a black 2019 Audi Q5, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
June 7 – “Officers responded to the area of Floyd Avenue and Grove Street on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. A resident parked his vehicle on the street on June 3 and when he returned on June 7, it was missing. The keys were left inside of the vehicle. The vehicle, a silver 2020 Mitsubishi ECL, was entered as stolen.”

June 7 – “Officers responded to the area of Evergreen Avenue on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. The complainant parked her vehicle in front of her residence overnight and when she returned the following morning, it was missing. The vehicle, a black 2020 Hyundai Elantra, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
June 8 – “Officers responded to the 200-block of Stonehouse Road in Glen Ridge (driveway of residence is located in Bloomfield) on report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. The complainant parked her vehicle in her driveway overnight and when she returned the following morning, it was missing. The vehicle, a black 2023 BMW 760, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
