9/11 Museum Remembers Birthday Of Bloomfield Victim

Catherine Nardella of Bloomfield was among nearly 3,000 people who died in the September 11 attacks. She was 40-years-old.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The 9/11 Memorial and Museum recently commemorated the birthday of a Bloomfield resident who died in the infamous September 11 attacks.

On Tuesday, the museum reported that it placed a white rose on Nardella’s name at the 9/11 Memorial in New York City to mark what would have been the Bloomfield resident’s 63rd birthday.

The museum released a social media post that read:

“Catherine Nardella was born in New York City. She lived in Bloomfield, New Jersey, where she was an active member of her Catholic church, serving as a lector and singing in the choir. Nardella worked as an insurance consultant at Aon Corporation. On 9/11, she was at her office near the top of the South Tower. She was 40-years-old.”
