90-Year-Old Bloomfield Chorale Seeks New Singers To Join Group
One of the longest-running community choruses in New Jersey is seeking new members, whether they sing soprano, alto, tenor or bass.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — One of the longest-running community choruses in New Jersey is seeking new members, whether they sing soprano, alto, tenor or bass.
The Bloomfield Chorale recently announced that it is looking for “all voices” to join the group, which was founded in 1933. According to a news release:
“Our classically trained conductor with a masters of music from Westminster Choir College is in her 15th season with the chorale. With her education and experience, she always puts together wonderful concert programs. We rehearse and learn in an informal atmosphere on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9:30, and perform a wide variety of music: Classical, Folk, Pop, Show Tunes, Soft Rock, Sacred, Opera, Holiday Pieces and more! We offer opportunities to solo, and our concerts are enhanced by guest musicians and a talented and accomplished accompanist. Come be part of a great tradition.”
