Bloomfield School Board Election: Parry, Greene, Dudley In The Lead

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — New Jersey voters cast ballots in races across the state on Tuesday, including the contest for the Bloomfield Board of Education. Polling places closed at 8 p.m.

In Bloomfield, voters got to cast ballots for the local board of education. There were six candidates running for three seats on the school board (each term last for three years). School board members are non-partisan and unpaid.

The candidates were Jefferson Ramos, Sandra Tufaro-Sarapoulos, Pedro Antonio Gongora, Kasey Dudley, Nadeisha Greene and Stephanie Parry.
With 97.14 percent of districts reported, Parry, Greene and Dudley are leading the race. Here are the uncertified results as per the Essex County Clerk's Office (three open seats):
- Jefferson Ramos – 2,091 votes (16.06%)
- Sandra Tufaro-Sarapoulos – 1,955 votes (15.01%)
- Pedro Antonio Gongora – 1,699 votes (13.05%)
- Kasey Dudley – 2,387 votes (18.33%)
- Nadeisha Greene – 2,421 votes (18.59%)
- Stephanie Parry – 2,469 votes (18.96%)
