Bloomfield Schools Closed Thursday Due To Winter Storm

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Public School District will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 6 due to a winter storm.

According to an advisory from the district:

"As communicated last night, we initially planned a delayed opening for today, Thursday, 2/6/25. However, due to the continued snowfall, deteriorating road conditions, and updated weather forecasts, Bloomfield Schools will now be CLOSED. This will be a traditional snow day. The safety of our school community is our top priority. We apologize for the late notice and thank you for your understanding."

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory and a hazardous weather outlook for the Bloomfield area that will be in effect until Thursday afternoon.
