Bloomfield Shelter Lowers Adult Cat Adoption Fees In January

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Bloomfield Animal Shelter is giving people a “purrfect” chance to adopt a new feline friend this month.

The shelter recently announced that it is reducing its adoption fees for adult cats during the month of January 2023, cutting the fee to $25.

“To help them find homes, we hope a financial incentive will boost their chances at adoption,” the shelter wrote online.

The regular adoption application process still applies, staff added.

“To meet our available cats, please email AdoptAtBas@gmail.com,” shelter staff said. “If approved, a meet and greet appointment will be scheduled in a timely manner.”
