Bloomfield Weather: Will It Rain On Easter Holiday Weekend?

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Have plans for the holiday weekend in Bloomfield? According to weather forecasters, there is some good news: the area is in for a “mostly sunny” day on Easter Sunday.

Although there’s rain in the forecast for Thursday – and possibly Saturday – the weather is expected to be largely sunny with a high around 60 degrees on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Here’s the latest forecast for Bloomfield:

Thursday: Periods of rain. High near 51. North wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Thursday Night: Rain likely, mainly before 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 38. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 54. Northwest wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36. Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of rain after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. West wind 8 to 10 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 41.
