Car Smashes Into Toll Booth In Bloomfield, Rolls Over

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — It happened again, Bloomfield fire officials say.

On Friday, a car struck a toll booth at the Essex Toll Plaza “yet again,” rolling over after the crash, according to the Bloomfield Fire Department, which shared photos taken at the scene (see below).

Bloomfield firefighters put out a small fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle and then assisted with cleanup while waiting for the tow company to arrive.
