Car Stolen With Dog Inside, ‘Devastated’ New Jersey Family Pleads For Pet’s Return
A reward is being offered for information leading to Alvin's return in Essex County – with "no questions asked."
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — If you’re the person who stole a car with a dog inside last month in Essex County, his owners don’t want their stuff back – they just want Alvin. That’s the message a New Jersey family is putting out this week as they continue to search for their missing pooch.
Alvin was in the backseat of his owner’s car when it was stolen around 11 a.m. on June 4 on Bloomfield Avenue in Bloomfield, according to a post from North Jersey-based Facebook group, Bergen County NJ Lost and Found Pets.
The car was later found near South 13th Street and Avon Avenue in Newark – but Alvin wasn’t inside.
