Car Stolen During Bloomfield Home Burglary: Police
A Bloomfield resident woke up to his residential alarm going off – then noticed his front window was forcibly opened, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A vehicle was recently stolen during a home burglary in Bloomfield, police say.
The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about the incident, which took place on March 29:
“Officers responded to the 400-block of Beardsley Avenue on report of a burglary. A resident woke up to his residential alarm going off and noticed his front window was forcibly opened. A set of car keys were taken from a table near the front window. The resident then noticed that his vehicle was missing from the front of his residence. The vehicle, a gray 2021 BMW X3, was entered as stolen.”
Police are investigating the burglary and theft, authorities said.
