Help These Bonded Buddies Stay Together In Bloomfield: Adopters Needed

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Mr. Foxy and Candy were surrendered to the Bloomfield Animal Shelter when their owner was hospitalized. And staff promised her that they’d find the bonded pair a home – together.

On Monday, the shelter put out a call for potential adopters who can give the two adorable doggos a new home.

Here’s what to know about them, the shelter said:

“Mr. Foxy (Pomeranian) and Candy (Papillon) are both approximately 1.5-years-old and now fully vetted. They really do love each other and will cry when separated. They are friendly with people and other dogs, and previously lived with a cat and rabbit. We want nothing more than to fulfill their owners wish of finding them a home together as soon as possible!”

TWEETY AND CHIRP

Mr. Foxy and Candy aren’t the only bonded pair that has recently come through the shelter’s doors.

Last week, the shelter put out an adoption call for Tweety and Chirp, two 6-month-old, fully vetted feline sisters who “must go home together.”

Both are friendly, playful, and love to play with other cats, the shelter said.
