Large Tree Lands On Cars, House: Storm Damage In Bloomfield

Thankfully, nobody was injured, Bloomfield fire officials said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Storm damage has been taking down trees across Essex County during the past week, including a large tree that landed on cars and a house in Bloomfield, authorities reported Tuesday.

The Bloomfield Fire Department shared more details about the recent tree incident, noting that nobody was injured:

“This week, fire units handled various calls related to storm damage. Yesterday evening companies responded to this large tree down that had landed on nearby cars and a house. Thankfully there were no injuries in this incident.”
