
At 6 p.m., the library offers a seminar on “Birds and Witches and Bloomfield: On the 200th Anniversary of the Death of Alexander Wilson.” This week marks the 200th anniversary of the death of Alexander Wilson, the father of American Ornithology. Wilson published the nine volumes of his American Ornithology and spent most of a year writing, painting and teaching in Bloomfield. Rick Wright's introduces the life and the work of Wilson.
