• Analilia Mejia Seeks Progressive Vote In NJ-11 Election To Replace Sherrill (patch.com) — Bloomfield residents just saw nearly 100 neighbors rally downtown for Analilia Mejia’s congressional bid, as volunteers fanned out to knock on doors in town and nearby communities. The Glen Ridge progressive is seeking to replace Mikie Sherrill in NJ-11, touting a platform of taxing billionaires, expanding health care and childcare, fixing infrastructure, and rejecting corporate PAC money while drawing high-profile endorsements. 
• Bloomfield High Senior Jeremy Tejada Receives the Prestigious Evan Murray Leadership Award (tapinto.net) — A Bloomfield High School senior quarterback, Jeremy Tejada, has been honored with the Evan Murray Leadership Award after leading the Bengals to their best football season in eight years. Recognized in Times Square, he rushed for over 1,000 yards, scored 20 touchdowns, and helped Bloomfield return to the state playoffs while serving as a team captain.
• Mall Pick-pocketer Arrested, Paramus Police Chief Announced (tapinto.net) — A Bloomfield resident has been charged after Paramus police say they found a stolen wallet and credit card in a vehicle at Westfield Garden State Plaza. Officers linked the suspect to an earlier pickpocketing at Willowbrook Mall, and he was remanded to the Bergen County Jail.
