Mikie Sherrill Visits Bloomfield To Kick Off NJ Road Trip: 2025 Governor Election
Sherrill and her running mate, Dale Caldwell, plan to visit every county in the state as Election Day approaches.
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill kicked off a new campaign tour with a stop in Bloomfield as the final countdown to the New Jersey governor election begins.
On Tuesday, the Democratic nominee launched her “Driving Down Costs” bus tour at a rally in Bloomfield. Sherrill and her lieutenant governor running mate, Dale Caldwell, plan to make trips to every county in the state.
Election Day takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

“From day one of this campaign, I’ve been laser focused on driving down costs, and that remains my North Star as we take that message to all 21 counties this week,” Sherrill said.
“Essex County's where it all began for Team Mikie, and I'm honored to have so many hometown heroes fighting by my side,” the congresswoman remarked.

The Republican Party candidate, Jack Ciattarelli, also recently made a campaign stop in Bloomfield.
Third-party and independent candidates running in the 2025 election include Vic Kaplan (Libertarian Party) and Joanne Kuniansky (Socialist Workers Party). Candidates running write-in campaigns include Lily Benavides (Green Party).
