UPDATED: Missing NJ Girl Found After Police Ask Public For Help
Bloomfield police said the juvenile changed out of her pajamas and walked out of her home, adding that she may have gone to Newark.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Police are asking for help finding a missing juvenile from Bloomfield, authorities announced Wednesday.
According to the Bloomfield Police Department, family members reported Avah DeLeon, 12, missing on Tuesday.

“Avah stated she was going downstairs for water, but instead changed out of her pajamas and walked out of her residence,” police said.
“Avah has a history of leaving home, and last time she went missing she was located in Newark,” police added.

Police said DeLeon is 5 feet 9 inches and has a medium build. It isn’t known what she was last wearing, but she may be carrying a blue bag.
