New Mural Brightens Up Train Trestle In Bloomfield (PHOTOS)

"Look, Don't Become a Cloud" celebrates Bloomfield's "cultural diversity and quiet strength."

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A new public mural that celebrates cultural diversity has been completed in Bloomfield.

The vibrant artwork – titled “Look, Don’t Become a Cloud” – was created by Global Art Muralist Eirini Linardaki. It is located on the train trestle on Broad Street.

According to a municipal news release, Linardaki’s design celebrates Bloomfield’s “cultural diversity and quiet strength” through textile-inspired patterns that reflect rootedness, balance and resilience. The mural complements the “Stay Strong” mural on the opposite side of the trestle: together creating a colorful gateway that celebrates the spirit of the community.
