Bloomfield College To Host 1st N.J. Cabaret Festival
The festival will feature 20 multi award winning musical talents that have strong ties to NJ and opening night is Mar. 8 at 7pm.
From Nicori Studios: NiCori Studios and Productions presents the first New Jersey Cabaret Festival at the Westminster Arts Center at Bloomfield College on Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9, both at 7pm.
Both nights will feature over 20 multi-award winning, musical talents who were either born, reside or have strong ties to New Jersey, according to a college news release.
The opening night will be held on March 8 and will be hosted by MAC and BroadwayWorld nominated singer/hostess, Corinna Sowers Adler. Corinna is the Artist in Residence at Bloomfield’s Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center and a resident of Bloomfield. The OPENING NIGHT will feature Recording Artist Wendy Lane Bailey, NiCori Student Grace Carlin, Internationally Acclaimed Guitarist Sean Harkness, Multi-Award Winning Singer Stearns Matthews, Comedian Warren Schein, Broadway Actress Elizabeth Southard, Actress/Singer Cindy Summers, Recording Artist Joanne Tatham, Song Stylist Lisa Yaeger.

March 9 will be A Tribute To Frank Sinatra hosted by MAC and Bistro Award winning singer, Stearns Matthews. The show will feature Singer/Actress Corinna Sowers Adler, Recording Artist Frank Dain, Composer/Singer Jim Horan, Broadway Actress Rosemary Loar, Singer Mikel Mafaro, Cabaret Entertainer Gerry Mastrolia, NiCori Student Luke Surretsky, BroadwayWorld Award Winning Vocalist Lisa Viggiano. Performers are subject to change.
Both evenings will be under the Musical Direction of eight time MAC award-winning Pianist/Arranger/Conductor/SingerSongwriter Tracy Stark.
