Pry Marks Found On Apartment Door In Bloomfield: Police

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — An attempted burglary was reported at an apartment in Bloomfield last week, authorities say.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, officers responded to a home on Park Avenue after getting a report about an attempted burglary on Oct. 1.

The resident said he left his apartment around 1 p.m. When he returned at 4 p.m., there were pry marks on the front door near the deadbolt.

An investigation continues, police said.
