Road Work Resumes In Bloomfield On Tuesday, Traffic Delays Expected

"Please use caution while driving through the construction zones," Bloomfield police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Road work is scheduled to resume Tuesday evening in Bloomfield, a town advisory says.

The Bloomfield Police Department released the following notice about the construction work:

“Please be advised that there will be contractors, Smith Sondy Construction, resuming work on Bloomfield Avenue for the next several days as part of the Essex County roadway resurfacing project. Drivers and pedestrians should expect delays at different times in Bloomfield, which may include closed corners, roadways or intersections. The work is expected to be completed in October with the paving of Bloomfield Avenue.”

“Please use caution while driving through the construction zones,” police added.
