School Closed In Bloomfield On Friday Due To Weather Forecast

"Please stay safe and warm!"

BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- The Bloomfield Public School District will be closed on Friday, Jan. 19 amid a poor winter weather forecast.

While Bloomfield wasn't among them as of Thursday evening, the local public school district is getting prepared for an ugly morning commute, officials say.

According to a message from the district:

"Due to expected inclement weather conditions and for the safety of our students and staff, all Bloomfield schools will now be closed on January 19, 2024. Please stay safe and warm! We apologize for any inconvenience."
