'Summer Of Fun' In Bloomfield Will Include Concerts, Car Shows, Family Activities

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A “summer of fun” is headed Bloomfield’s way.
The township recently announced details for the 2025 Summer of Fun, a full season of family-friendly events that will run throughout the summer months.

“Highlights of the 2025 schedule include the Cool Summer Nights Cruise Nights & Car Shows held Wednesday evenings in August at Universal Technical Institute, the much-anticipated Independence Day Celebration at Foley Field on July 4th, and the Overnight Family Campout and Outdoor Movie on September 19th at Pulaski Park. In between, families can enjoy Civic Band Concerts, a Summer Concert Series featuring live music at Brookside Park, National Night Out, and the festive Christmas in July celebration.”

“We’re proud to offer something for everyone this summer—from classic car enthusiasts to music lovers to young families,” said Michael Sceurman, director of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.

“This is what community is all about—bringing people together, sharing joy, and celebrating what makes Bloomfield such a special place to live,” Mayor Jenny Mundell agreed.
“The ‘Summer of Fun’ is a tradition that reflects our town’s spirit, and I couldn’t be more excited to kick things off with our residents,” she added.
