‘Walking Food Tour’ Returns To Bloomfield For Mother’s Day Weekend

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A “food tour” is taking place at several of Bloomfield’s most popular restaurants on Mother’s Day weekend.

The Bloomfield Center Walking Food Tour will return for 2023 from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 – and this time it’s taking on brunch. According to the Bloomfield Center Alliance, the event at 27-35 Lackawanna Plaza will include visits to four local restaurants, with menu highlights that include:

• Shrimp & Grits at Casa De Flora Bar\
• Banana Pudding French Toast at Anthony's Cheesecake & Restaurant
• Cold Sesame Noodles at 7 Doors Down Ramen Co
• Eggplant Rollatini at Bucco Restaurant Bloomfield

The event also includes a guided tour throughout the downtown area, highlighting some of the town’s history and details about “what's to come in Bloomfield Center,” organizers said.
