Water Main Break In Bloomfield Shuts Down Local Roadway On Friday

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Claremont Avenue in Bloomfield was closed Friday due to a water main break, authorities said.

According to the Bloomfield Police Department, the water main break impacted traffic on Claremont Avenue between Bellevue Avenue and Claremont Place.

Drivers should expect traffic delays and plan an alternate route, authorities said.

The estimated time of completion for the repairs is eight hours, authorities said at 9:17 a.m.
