This week, meet adoptable Sweet Petey!
He looks like Petey from “The Little Rascals” and he’s very, very sweet—hence the name Sweet Petey! All the volunteers agree that he’s a really great dog and he’s quite a favorite. He was tied to the fence at the West Orange Animal Control Facility—was he abandoned? Or, as volunteers would prefer to think, was he found by a Good Samaritan who tied him to the fence to keep him safe? When the Animal Control Officer found Sweet Petey, he walked right into the shelter. Since then, he’s made himself comfortable and he seems to be “enjoying his vacation.” However, this sweet, friendly goofball needs more than a vacation; this dog needs a home to call his own.
The town vet estimates Sweet Petey to be about two years old; his rabies vaccination is up-to-date.
