Will Bloomfield Get Snow This Week? See Local Forecast

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Weather forecasters are predicting the first widespread snow of the winter season in New Jersey this week, with some ugliness potentially headed Bloomfield's way.

The Bloomfield area may see rain and/or snow on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). There is a wind advisory in effect from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Here is the local weather forecast for Bloomfield this week, according to the NWS:

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. South wind 7 to 9 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday Night: A chance of snow before midnight, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a steady temperature around 37. Southwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Thursday: A chance of rain showers before 10am, then a slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 39. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. Breezy, with a west wind 14 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 35. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 25.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 28.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 34.
