BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Police Department is seeking teens who are interested in law enforcement to join the department's Public Safety Cadets.

"This program provides an important introduction to law enforcement for Brick Township's youth," the department said in a recent Facebook post.

The cadets meet monthly and receive educational training and participate in hands-on simulations. They also support the police department during major community events, ride-alongs, and other local functions, the department said.
