Teen With 'Heart Of Gold' Nominated As Star Student: Meet Vincent

Brick, New Jersey — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Vincent is a straight A student. He is also Vice President of his school at Lake Rivera Middle School and is also National Junior Honor Society Student. He plays on the school baseball team and rec teams. He also umpires in his spare time at Brick Little League. Vincent is a roll model for the younger generation. He coaches 6U Flag Football and the kids love him.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Vincent is a great model to the younger children. He is like by his peers. He is helpful and has a heart of gold.
