Caldwell Business Clearing Out Its Closet
My Daughter's Closet to close by early September.

A Caldwell consignment shop specializing in fashion for teens and young women will close in early September, according to owner Dale Schultz Lazarovitch.
My Daughter’s Closet , 3 Brookside Ave., ran a healthy business during prom season, when high-end dresses could be scooped up for a fraction of their retail prices, Schultz Lazarovitch said.
But a low volume of shopping traffic in downtown Caldwell, she said, made turning a profit difficult during the rest of the year.

“The reason why I am closing is that the idea for the store was a good one, location not such a good one,” she said, adding that she is considering relocating the business.
A closing sale will take place this Tuesday through Friday, from noon to 4 p.m.

“I need to clean out the store, there are still lots of amazing items to be sold. Gowns, party dresses, jeans, etc.,” she posted on Facebook.
