Caldwell Earns ‘Gold’ From Safe Routes To School Program
A bike rodeo, crossing guard annual training and Complete Street policy helped Caldwell to nab a "Gold" designation.
CALDWELL, NJ — The Borough of Caldwell received Gold Award Recognition from the Safe Routes to School program as a result of its bike rodeo at Lincoln School, crossing guard annual training, and Complete Street policy in 2023.
According to the Caldwell Police Department, the Gold level is the highest level of recognition given, which honored the borough’s commitment and support for the New Jersey Safe Routes to School Program.
“We thank acting Lt. Michael Pellegrino, who is the officer in charge of the traffic bureau, for his hard work, dedication, and commitment to the Safe Routes to School program,” the CPD noted in a social media post.
