Tag Sale and Flea Market, Summer Reading, Movie Night Planned at Caldwell Library
Check out the upcoming calendar of events planned in June.

The Caldwell Public Library, at 268 Bloomfield Ave., will offer the following programs at the library, unless otherwise noted.
Tag Sale and Flea Market
The Caldwell Public Library Foundation Community will hold at tag sale and flea market in the municipal parking lot behind the library on Saturday, June 1, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

If you are interested in decluttering your garage and finding a good home for your unwanted items, or are a bargain hunter hoping to make a special find, then you will not want to miss this tag sale and flea market.
Groups or individuals can reserve space to sell their wares at the event, which will offer books, a bake sale table, crafts for children and pet adoptions by Orphaned Pets.

The library will also hold a Nearly New Tag Sale Table where volunteers from the Caldwell Public Library pool together items to be sold.
For a $25 tax-deductible donation to the Foundation, people can have a space to sell their tag sale items, crafts, household goods, jewelry and anything else! The library will provide children's crafts and will be hosting the bake sale.
Anyone interested in donating to the bake sale can drop off their item the morning of the sale
All proceeds will benefit the Caldwell Free Public Library and will go towards programming for children and adults. Spaces are still available. Call the library at (973) 226-2837 for more information.
Social Security Planning
Robert Zingone will show you have to be a savvy Social Security planner with this a program called What Every Baby Boomer Needs to Know on Tuesday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the library
This program will be one hour with a question-and-answer session. Zingone is uniquely qualified to assist in educating the public. He has spent more than 30 years working with retirees and their families.
He has written six books including, "Alligator Proofing Your Estate," an in-depth look at many of the concerns affecting retirees today and "The Great Variable Annuity Circus."
Profession Organizer Shares Tips
Professional organizer Kathe Roberts will present File Don't Pile & Clutter Busters on Wednesday, June 5 , at 6:30 p.m. at the library.
Are you drowning in clutter? Are you trying to figure out a way to organize your life? Come attend this free workshop and take charge of your clutter.

How to Handle Join Pain
Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Richard Rosa will present a free program titled Joint Pain: Understanding the Causes, Symptoms and Treatment Options presented on Thursday, June 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the library.

Pizza and Movie Night
It's pizza and movie night at the Caldwell Library. Stop by the library on Wednesday, June 12, at 6:00 p.m. to see "Father of the Bride."
Elizabeth Taylor and Spencer Tracy star in this delightful comedy where the father of a young woman deals with the emotional pain of her getting married, and the financial and organizational pain of arranging her wedding. Directed by Vincente Minelli, this movie premiered on June 16, 1950. What’s more romantic than a June wedding?

Summer Reading Program
Caldwell Library will kick off its summer reading program on Saturday, June 15, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The Force will be with you as the library kick off the summer reading program with a visit from the Star Wars Universe! Sign up for the library's Summer Reading Club, have your picture taken with your favorite Star Wars character, and check out the line-up of great summer programs at the library.
This year’s summer reading theme is Dig into Reading.
