Caldwell PD Is Hiring For Police Officers: How To Apply

CALDWELL, NJ — Want to be a cop in Caldwell? Here’s your chance.

The Caldwell Police Department recently announced that it is accepting applications for the position of police officer. The deadline for submissions is 11:50 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23.

Requirements include:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• New Jersey residency required
• Valid NJ Driver's License
• Minimum age 18 years
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Must meet all qualifications as specified in N.J.S.A. 40A:14-122
• NJ Police Training Commission (PTC) Certification preferred
