Caldwell University Receives ‘Hispanic Serving Institution’ Award
Caldwell University was recently honored as a recipient of the Angeles Investors' HSI (Hispanic Serving Institution) Impact Award.

CALDWELL, NJ — Caldwell University was recently honored as a recipient of the Angeles Investors’ HSI (Hispanic Serving Institution) Impact Award for its work in serving Hispanic students.
Caldwell was one of only 25 United States institutions to receive an HSI Impact Award from the Angeles Investors this year.
The university’s vice president for philanthropy and engagement Scott Koskoski accepted the award on behalf of the college.

“Caldwell University was honored to receive such an important award,” Koskoski said. “As a Hispanic-Serving Institution, Caldwell is proud to support students from many Hispanic cultures and backgrounds in their educational endeavors. We were delighted to be among a group of such prestigious universities that are leading in supporting Hispanic leadership and forward-thinking ventures.”
According to a news release from Caldwell University, the HSI awards are given by Angeles Investors to find, fund and grow the most promising Hispanic and Latinx ventures. Angeles Investors supports the most exciting startups driven by Hispanic or Latinx entrepreneurs, investors and board members.

Ivonne Valdes, a member of the university’s board of trustees, nominated Caldwell for an HSI Impact Award.
“I am excited to have my alma mater recognized,” Valdes said. “Caldwell University is an institution that encourages critical thinking, a global mindset and community and social involvement.”
The award was presented at a celebration and investors conference last month.
