The presentation will address the commonly held belief in the business world that if you are not in front of the publicity for your brand, someone else will determine how it is viewed by the public, and how this relates to school systems, exploring whether or not schools fall under the same umbrella and, if so, what it means to have a brand for a K-12 institution.

Higgins will also explore how schools and districts leverage social media to grow their brand, and is it time for education to take a lesson in media branding.
