Construction On Busy Caldwell Road Will Continue This Week

Milling and paving operations continue on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell. Here's the latest update.

CALDWELL, NJ — Construction work will continue this week on a busy roadway in Caldwell.

Milling and paving operations on Bloomfield Avenue will continue through at least Friday, June 6. The work will take place from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., according to a notice from the borough.

  • Once work begins at 7 p.m., residents will have restricted access to Bloomfield Avenue and the parking lanes. Please make any necessary arrangements to avoid interfering with the construction.
  • Traffic on Bloomfield Avenue may be diverted as needed, and officers will be available to assist.
  • No parking will be allowed on Bloomfield Avenue during the construction.
  • Overnight parking will be allowed on all side streets.

“As work continues throughout the week and in the coming weeks, updates will be shared as necessary,” borough officials said. “We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this important infrastructure improvement.”
