First Day Of Fall In Caldwell: What Will The Weather Be Like?

CALDWELLS, NJ — Get ready to say goodbye to the summer and hello the fall, Caldwell.

The first day of autumn 2024 will officially arrive when the equinox begins at 8:44 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22. This is the moment when the sun crosses the equator and people living in the northern hemisphere – including the Caldwells, New Jersey – will begin to see more darkness than daylight.

There may be a slight chance of rain showers in the Caldwells on Friday as the summer draws to a close. But forecasters are predicting a “mostly sunny” day for the first day of autumn, giving people a chance to get outside and enjoy the weather. Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51.
