Holiday Shipping Deadlines to Remember on USPS's Busiest Day of The Year
Attention residents in the Caldwells: today is a major deadline for holiday shipping.

Monday, Dec. 15 is the busiest day of the year for USPS with all the packages and cards making their way across the country and even the globe for the holiday season.
So if you’re still scrambling to do your holiday shopping, make sure you have your packages out to ship by these dates to ensure delivery on Dec. 24:
For Domestic Mail:

- Dec. 15 is the last day to ship your package via standard mail.
- Dec. 20 is the last day you can ship your packages by first class and priority mail.
- Your package will still reach on time via priority mail express if you ship it by Dec. 23.
For International Mail:
- Dec. 17 is the last day to ship via global express mail to guarantee package delivery in time for Christmas.
For Military Mail:

- Dec. 17 is the last day to ship items via military priority mail express service to ensure on time delivery.
According to ABC News, more than 640 million cards, letters and packages are expected to be sent nationwide. To ensure delivery on time, post offices will be delivering mail seven days a week.
