CALDWELL, NJ — How hot will it get in the Caldwells this weekend? Possibly up to 90 degrees, weather forecasters say.

“Extreme heat” – which some Essex County officials define as a period of high heat and humidity with temperatures above 90 degrees for at least two days – is no joke. It is responsible for the highest number of annual deaths among all weather-related hazards.
