More Than 50 Truck Batteries Stolen in Fairfield
Police investigating rash of commercial truck battery thefts.

More than 50 commercial truck batteries have been reported stolen in Fairfield over the past two weeks, police said.
The latest thefts took place between Thursday and Friday when four separate companies in the area of Just Road reported nine batteries missing from five different trucks.
Since Feb. 15, a total of 51 commercial truck batteries valued at approximately $3,800 have been reported stolen, according to police.
