Mount St. Dominic Academy to Offer Transportation for 2025-2026
New Routes Expand Accessibility for Families Across North Jersey

Mount St. Dominic Academy is making it easier than ever for students to get to the Mount with transportation options beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. With new routes designed to serve a wider range of students across North Jersey, the Mount is enhancing accessibility for families looking for a top-tier private school education.
The Mount has long been known for its rigorous academics, strong values, and close-knit community. However, for some prospective families, transportation logistics can be a factor in choosing the right school. By adding dedicated transportation routes, the Mount hopes to eliminate this barrier and allow more students the opportunity to experience all that Mount has to offer.
This new transportation plan includes designated pickup locations in Essex and Morris counties, providing a safe and reliable way for students to travel to school each day. Pickup points will include NJ Transit Mountain Station in Montclair, NJ Transit Station in South Orange, Troy Hills Shopping Center parking lot in Parsippany, and Wood Stack parking lot in Pine Brook.

“We understand that transportation plays a crucial role in a family’s decision-making process,” says Catherine Duran, Director of Admissions. “By offering these new routes, we’re making it easier for families who might not have previously considered Mount St. Dominic to see how accessible and welcoming our community truly is.”
Beyond providing an easier commute, school transportation also offers students a chance to form friendships before they even step foot in the classroom. Sharing a ride each day fosters a sense of community and belonging—one of the many things that make Mount St. Dominic Academy a special place.

“Providing transportation is about more than just convenience,” says Lynn Burek, Head of School. “It’s about expanding opportunities, making our exceptional education accessible to more families, and reinforcing our commitment to students across the region. We want every girl who dreams of attending Mount St. Dominic Academy to know that distance should never be a barrier.”
