Obituary: Caldwell's Francesca Cottitto Dies

Francesca Cottitto, of Caldwell, formerly of Sicily, Italy, passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, May 21.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, at 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, on Thursday, May 23, from 4 to 8 P.M. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Caldwell, on Friday, May 24, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.

Francesca was born in Palma DiMontechiaro, Sicily, Italy, to the late Rosario and Gaetana Cammalleri, where she lived for most of her life, before moving to Caldwell three years ago to be with her family in the United States after her beloved husband Salvatore Cottitto passed away in 2010.

Surviving are her devoted daughters Calogera “Lina” Pace and Gaetana Pace; loving sisters Paolina and Josephine LoBrutto; dear brothers Luigi and Jake Cammalleri;  also her cherished 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
