Reindeer Run 5K To Race Through the Caldwells Saturday

The fourth annual 5K Reindeer Run, will be held in Caldwell this Saturday, Dec. 6. The New Jersey Grand Prix 500 Point Race begins at 9:30 a.m. with a B tag start at Trinity Academy on Bloomfield Avenue and continues though a certified course through Caldwell, West Caldwell and North Caldwell. The race is hosted by Caldwell’s Trinity Academy.

There will be $250 cash prizes awarded to first place overall male and female winners, and first, second and third place winners in five year age groups. Professional runners, casual runners, walkers and families with strollers welcome.

Runner amenities include a New Balance Long Sleeve Tech Shirt. There will also be a free Santa Shuffle dance contest at 11:30 a.m. for children of various ages.

After the run, stay for the Jingle Jam - holiday festivities for the whole family, including boutique shopping, photos with Santa, rides, crafts and reindeer games. There will also be food and refreshments, music, 50/50 and more at the Jingle Jam.

In-person registration will be available on Friday, Dec. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 to 9:15 am in the Trinity Academy gymnasium. For more information or online registration, click here.
