Road Construction In North Caldwell Will Impact Traffic, Parking

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — Road construction will be taking place on several streets in North Caldwell over the coming weeks.

According to a municipal traffic advisory, work is slated to take place on the following roads: Hill Street, Orient Way, Courter Lane, Laurel Court, Estella Avenue, Blackberry Lane, Lakeside Avenue, Sparrow Drive, York Place.

The construction schedule includes:

• Roadway Milling – Beginning on Monday, November 10, 2025, through Wednesday, November 12
• Curb Work – Beginning on Monday, November 17, 2025, through Tuesday, November 18
• Paving Operations – Beginning on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, through Thursday, November 20

Here are some other things to know, the advisory says:

PARKING – No street parking will be allowed during construction activities. Please park your car(s) on the nearest side street prior to 7:00am on the day of paving operations to avoid conflicts with construction activity.

ROAD CLOSURES – During paving operations, the road will be closed to all vehicles.

DAILY ACCESS – The road will be opened to traffic at the end of each work day.

WEATHER – This work schedule is dependent on weather conditions. We will coordinate with contractors to minimize disruptions.
