Roseland Toddler Passes Away Just Days Before Turning 2-Years-Old

Henry Donnelly died Tuesday. Services will be held in Caldwell on Oct. 12 & 13. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude in his honor.

Henry Donnelly, of Roseland, passed away of undisclosed causes on Tuesday, Oct. 7, just days before his second birthday. Donnelly was the son of Paul and Brandi Donnelly of Roseland.

Henry was also the loving brother of three older siblings and “a little guy who filled hearts with joy.” His family described him in an obituary (printed below) as “a loving and active little boy who was adored by family and friends from the moment he arrived in their lives.”

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with and support the family on Sunday, Oct. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, located at 54 Roseland Ave., in Caldwell. Services will be held on Monday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell, located at 326 Bloomfield Ave. in Caldwell. The interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Caldwell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Henry’s Memory to St. Jude to help other children.

Henry William Donnelly, of Roseland, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Henry was born in Livingston, NJ and was a joy to his parents and family from the very beginning.

He was a loving and active little boy and was adored by family and friends from the moment he arrived in their lives. Besides playing with his brother and sisters, and family and friends, Henry loved to go to Francisco Park with his Pop Pop to pick up the baseballs that were left behind. What a collection he enjoyed tossing around the house. Please remember the family in prayer as they grieve this tragic loss.

Surviving are his adoring parents, Paul and Brandi (Starke) Donnelly; a loving brother, Nicholas, twocherished sisters, Anna and Victoria; loving grandparents, Al and Cookie Donnelly, Richard and Lynne Starke; dear great-grandfather, Fred Coppolino; aunt, Christine Donnelly, uncle, Ricky Starke, aunt Jessy Starke, and extended family and friends.
