Rotary Club In The Caldwells Delivers ‘Care Packages’ To Food Pantry

The Rotary Club also donated $1,500 in gift cards to a local grocery store to help families facing economic hardship.

CALDWELLS, NJ — The Rotary Club of the Caldwells recently made a delivery of 50 “care packages” to the Caldwell Food Pantry in an effort to support local families facing economic hardship.

Each package included personal care items, hygiene essentials and basic necessities. Club members worked collaboratively to pack, organize and prepare the donations.

In addition to the care packages, the Rotary Club donated $1,500 in gift cards to a local grocery store.

Rotary Club president Pam Licht and youth service chair Brian Barbera delivered the packages and gift cards to the Caldwell Food Pantry in November.

“These care packages and gift card donations reflect our continued belief in helping our neighbors through meaningful, hands-on service,” Licht said.
