CALDWELL, NJ — Stormy weather brought down power lines in Caldwell on Thursday, leaving a section of town without electricity, authorities said.

The Caldwell Police Department released the following advisory at 10:01 a.m.:

“Please be advised due to the storm there are power outages on Smull Avenue to downed utility lines. Smull Avenue is closed from Ward Place to Hatfield Street. Please avoid the area and do not touch any wires on the ground.”
